Landscape Archaeology Conference 2014 - 1

Troisième colloque international d'archéologie du paysage
Comme tous les deux ans maintenant, se tient une rencontre internationale d'archéologues intéressés par le thème du paysage. La première édition avait eu lieu à Amsterdam en 2010. Puis une seconde édition s'était tenue à Berlin en 2012. Il semble de rythme soit maintenu avec l'édition 2014 qui se déroulera du 17 au 20 septembre prochain à Rome.

Les thématiques retenues sont les suivantes :

1/ Archéologie du paysage et société contemporaine
2/ Démarches intégrées en archéologie du paysage
3/ Archéologie du paysage méditérannéen
4/ La dimension sociale en archéologie du paysage
5/ Digital Landscape Archaeology (j'ai choisi de ne pas traduire).

Le calendrier, pour participer à ce colloque est assez serré. La date limite de soumission pour les communication est le 1er avril 2014.

A noter que l'organisation de ce colloque est assuré essentiellement par VU University Amsterdam et que le public qui avait participé aux deux premières éditions était composé de nombreux doctorants d'université néerlandaises, anglaises, russes, américaines, allemandes et d'autres pays encore ...

Third international landscape archaeology conference
Every two years now, takes an international meeting of archaeologists interested in the theme of landscape. The first edition was held in Amsterdam in 2010. And a second edition was in Berlin in 2012. It seems rhythm is maintained with the 2014 edition, which runs from 17 to 20 September in Rome.

The themes chosen are :

1/ Landscape Archaeology and Contemporary Society
2/ Integrated Approaches in Landscape Archaeology
3/ Mediterranean Landscape Archaeology
4/ Social Dimensions in Landscape Archaeology
5/ Digital Landscape Archaeology

 Schedule to participate in this conference is pretty short. The deadline for communication is April 1, 2014.

Should be noted that the organization of this conference is mainly provided by VU University Amsterdam and the public who participated in the first two editions was composed of many students in PhD coming from dutch, english, american, russian, german university and from other countries too ...
